Description
- Grow your own favourite.
- Uniform tubers that are 50% bigger than other salad varieties.
- Tasty, firm, with a mouth-watering flavour.
'Charlotte' has always been a firm favourite among home growers and is ideal for boiling, steaming and salads.
Firm and waxy in texture, it’s loved for its excellent uniform shallow-eyed, long-oval tubers which can grow up to 50% bigger than other salad varieties.
With a mouth-watering texture and taste, this is a versatile choice for the kitchen.
With excellent blight resistance, this humble potato gives you high yields and can be harvested from June.
Holder of the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society, 'Charlotte' is provided in 5kg bags, ideal for the allotment or vegetable patch.
All our seed potatoes are graded to a size 35mm x 35mm to 55mm x 55mm. This means that the smallest seed potatoes in the sample will not fall through an 35mm square. This does mean there will be various sizes within the pack. More modern varieties are more equal in size but as we want to offer the more unusual and Heritage varieties, these are more variable but we will always supply the weight stated. Any harvest will depend on individual growing conditions but generally smaller potatoes will produce smaller crops and larger potatoes will produce larger crops. But for example 1kg of seed potatoes will produce the same overall harvest whether the seed potatoes are small or large.
