Piquant oven baked tuna


Robust fresh tuna is an oily fish bursting with the essential fatty acid, omega 3. Marinated and baked this recipe is so speedy you could almost consider it as a cheats alternative.

Ingredients

2 Fresh Tuna Steaks

1 Small Dried Chilli or 1 Mild Fresh, Seeds Removed & Chopped

1/2 the Juice of a Lemon

A Splash of Olive Oil

Chopped Fresh Coriander

Method

Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees  

1. Place the tuna in a non-metallic oven-proof dish. Crumble 1/2 the chilli over each, followed by the lemon juice, olive oil, and chopped coriander.

2. Leave to marinade for about 30 minutes then slam into the pre-heated oven for about 15 minutes depending on your preference to the pinkness of tuna.
