This Greenhouse Tomato Seed Collection is perfect for those of you who really enjoy variety and great flavour in one.

This mix contains cherry, standard and beefsteak tomato seeds that are perfect for greenhouse growing and for growers who like to cook, preparing tomatoes in the kitchen in all manners of ways. Gardener’s Delight can even be grown outdoors if it suits you and need the extra space in your greenhouse.

We’ve selected the best varieties for every tomato type with F1 hybrids displaying great vigour and with Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.

Yellow Mimi - An eye-catching cordon tomato variety, Yellow Mimi seeds develop into full and flavoursome plants with a heavy crop of sweet and crunchy fruits.

Shirley - The standard greenhouse variety 'par excellence'. It’s a relatively compact, early maturing variety yielding a reliable crop of sweet tomatoes and does well in an unheated greenhouse.

Country Taste - Country Taste produces delicious meaty fruits, ideal for slicing, frying and grilling and perfect for stuffing. It produces a particularly early crop when grown under glass and has the potential as an exhibition variety too - for the largest fruits restrict to three or four tomatoes per truss.

Gardener’s Delight - Exceptionally sweet and delicious cherry tomato. Very reliable and great favourite with our customers. Grow them indoors or outdoors to suit.

All your seeds come in fully sealed packets with growing instructions, expert tips and good illustrations.

How to grow

Tomatoes are easy to grow from seed, provided you have somewhere warm and sunny to sow them. A heated greenhouse is ideal, but you can also sow tomato seeds in pots on a sunny windowsill. Sow tomato seeds indoors from January to April. Sow the seeds thinly in seed trays filled with peat-free seed compost, water gently, and cover lightly with a 1cm (1/4in) layer of compost or vermiculite. Cover with clingfilm to create a humid environment. Place the trays somewhere warm, such as a heated greenhouse or sunny windowsill. Remove the clingfilm once the seeds have germinated and keep the compost moist. If grown on a windowsill, try to turn the tray regularly so the plants don’t lean towards the light.
