How you will receive your plants:

Selected by our team of experts and sent from our nursery, you will receive your plant in a pot, ready to plant out.

Can’t plant straight away?

Place the pot in a sheltered spot outdoors and water regularly to keep the soil moist.

Planting tips and hints:

Planting in the ground: Plant in moist, well-drained moderately fertile soil in sun or part shade, sheltered from cold drying winds. Avoid planting in cold wet soil in winter.

Planting in containers: Plant in a container filled with a loam-based compost like John Innes no 2, mixed with horticultural grit to improve drainage.

Aftercare:

Prune lightly in late spring if necessary to remove dead or damaged branches. Water container-grown plants regularly, especially in hot dry weather. Move containers to a sheltered spot in winter and place pots on pot feet to reduce the risk of waterlogging and root rot.
