Grow your own mulberry tree and enjoy picking delicious loganberry-like fruit every year, only these are so much richer.

Enjoy the fact that you need no formative pruning, unlike raspberries, and the berries come back more and more abundant every year. Choose to grow directly in the soil to create a large tree, on the edge of an allotment area or in a large pot if you want to restrict the overall size to two or three metres in height.

Your tree comes from a renowned established tree planted in London's Chelsea Physic Garden under order from King James I. Although the tree died from damage in World War II, cuttings were taken in time to enable the line to carry on. Some of the cuttings were planted by Churchill at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire and also to mark the Queen's coronation.

How you will receive your plants:

Selected by our team of experts and sent from our nursery, you will receive your plant in a pot, ready to plant out.

Supplied as a potted multi-branched bush. This can be left to produce a large bush shape or cut back to the ground all but the strongest, straightest stem and train this in to a standard tree shape. Once this stem reaches the desired height then remove the growing tip and encouraging side stems to produce.

Our products are all grown with the utmost care and to high standards of quality. We regularly check our nursery stock to determine exactly when they will be at the optimum time for despatch.

We despatch our fresh, nursery-grown live plants (including vegetables, trees and flowers) when they are at a stage of growth ready for you, the customer, to plant on at home.

The delivery period shown on your order confirmation indicates when you can expect to receive your order and we will endeavour to despatch your plants in this period within 7-14 days.

Please note – due to increased courier costs beyond our control, delivery charges to all non-UK Mainland addresses including Scottish Highlands & Islands may be subject to a postage surcharge.
