Grow tomato Super Marmande for tomatoes to really raise eyebrows. You can’t get these so readily in shops which is a shame as you miss out on their big flavour. Growing your own Super Marmande though is a simple solution and these bush tomato types are easy to care for.

Tasty and well-scented these tomatoes are great for the home grower to try. Grow in pots or in grow bags dependent on your space- pots are great for space-saving. When your plants flower we recommend you treat them to liquid tomato feed like Gro Sure tomato food, high in potash that encourages excellent fruiting.

From just three young plants you can expect big harvests of large tomatoes, saving you money in the long run. Plus, you get the satisfaction of growing tomatoes not often seen in the UK, despite them growing well here.

In the kitchen, stuff Super Marmande tomatoes with tasty and fragrant rice or slice the tomatoes and enjoy them with mozzarella and basil.

When you receive your tomato plants by post we recommend you water them lightly, then plant them up in small pots. If you find that the stem tip is bent, rest assured, it will quickly right itself when exposed to daylight to grow straight and upright.
