Bone Meal is a great source of phosphorous. Being particularly high in this macronutrient it is great for building soil fertility and boosting strong, healthy root growth. Ideal for sprinkling into planting holes at planting time, Bone Meal provides great stimulation to the roots of garden favourites like bare-root roses, perennials and bare-root plants of wallflowers.
Suitable for improving the fertility of soil accommodating carrots, parsnips, radishes and other root vegetables.
Apply every four to six weeks throughout the growing season from February to the end of October. For best results the granules should be worked into the soil with a spade. In drier spells, water well before and after application. One handful works out to be roughly about 35g, and wearing gloves is recommended when handling Bone Meal.
