What should I do when my vegetable plants arrive?

As soon as your vegetable plug plants arrive, carefully unpack them and check that the compost is moist. Water them carefully if they have dried out and allow to drain. Keep plants watered in a warm and light spot and they should remain healthy for up to three days while you decide where they're going to go next.
If planting directly into your garden, ensure that the soil has been turned over and broken up. Add compost to poor-quality areas to promote healthy growth.

When to plant vegetables in the UK?
