The Old Greengage is a heritage British favourite much-loved for centuries and lauded as the best-tasting of all plum varieties- rich, juicy and full-flavoured. Aside from taste the heavily-cropping fruit turns from leafgreen to a warming yellow indicating ripeness and the time to harvest.
