Description
Westland Organic Chicken Manure Pellets are ideal for improving soil and the planting, as well as feeding of established plants. Chicken Manure is an effective non-chemical fertiliser and is a useful source of nitrogen. Nitrogen is the main nutrient plants require for healthy green leafy growth.

How to use
Before applying the Chicken Manure Pellets into the soil, make sure you generously water the bed. When in contact with moisture, the pellets break down and nutrients are added to the soil. Apply several days before sowing seeds or planting out small plants.
When to apply
Apply in autumn when preparing winter beds or early in spring when preparing your beds for planting. Apply an additional feed 3-4 weeks after planting to ensure top quality and healthy harvest.
How much do I use?
Based on an average of 65 square feet (6m2) bed On sandy soil: before planting: 1800g (30 handfuls) On rich soil: before planting 600g (12 handfuls) On sandy soil: for established borders: 1800g (30 handfuls) On rich soil: for established borders: 600g (12 handfuls)
