How do I clean my garden tools?

For spades, forks & trowels: Use a stiff brush to remove all soil. If they're very muddy, wash and dry them thoroughly, using a towel to prevent rust. A wipe with an oiled rag gives metal parts extra protection.

For cutting tools:
Sticky plant sap can ruin your blades and make them stick. Use a pan scourer or wire wool, with a little oil, to remove any grime. Wipe the blades clean and add a drop of oil to the central pivot to keep the action smooth.

How do I sharpen my garden tools?
