Complete The Job

  • Premium carbon steel blades with Chrome coating for superior rust protection.
  • Lightweight aluminium body with a bi-material micro hex grip for comfort and control.
  • Built-in string cutter for added convenience.
  • Compact design, perfect for easy handling and storage.
  • Ideal for trimming, propagating, and reducing shoots to the closest bud.
  • Cutting diameter: 15mm.

The Garden Life All Purpose Mini Secateurs offer a versatile, lightweight alternative to larger secateurs. These mini secateurs are ideal for those who prefer easy-to-handle tools that enhance maneuverability, making them a go-to for various garden tasks. Featuring razor-sharp SK5 steel blades, they make quick work of live green wood, delivering clean cuts with minimal effort.

How to Use:

  • Perfect for trimming delicate stems with a bypass action to prevent bruising.
  • Ideal for propagating, pruning, and cutting shoots close to the nearest bud.
  • Great for shaping green live wood, including roses and shrubs.
  • Avoid using on dead wood, which can dull the blades.

Maintenance and Care:

  • Store in a dry place after use to prevent moisture damage and rust.
  • Clean off soil and debris after each use to maintain sharpness and function.
  • Apply linseed oil to wooden handles to prevent cracking.
  • Thoroughly clean tools exposed to chemicals to avoid corrosion.

How To Care For Your Secateurs

Taking care of secateurs means they will continue to perform at their peak. We recommend that you don't leave your secateurs outside when not in use. Wipe them after use, and allow them to completely dry. Store them away in a dry environment, such as your greenhouse, shed or garage. Even in dry weather conditions your tools, if left outside, are exposed to moisture from wet grass and dew.

For all wood handled tools such as these secateurs you can even apply a light coating of boiled linseed oil to help prevent the wood from drying out and cracking. If the wooden handle is very dirty, remove as much of the soil as possible. If you need to use water, gently wet the handle with a damp cloth, making sure that you don’t soak the wood, as this may cause the grain to lift and the handle to swell.
