How you will receive your plants:

Selected by our team of experts and sent from our nursery, you will receive your plant in a pot, ready to plant out.

Can’t plant straight away?

Place the pot in a sheltered sunny spot outdoors and water regularly to keep the soil moist.

Planting tips and hints:

Planting in the ground: Before planting, dig in plenty of compost or well-rotted farmyard manure to improve soil structure. Plant in well drained soil in full sun. Water well after planting.

Planting in containers: Plant in a container filled with a loam-based compost such as John Innes No. 3.

Aftercare:

Water regularly and feed fortnightly during the flowering season with a high potash feed like tomato feed.

Cut the dried seedheads back in winter once they become frost-damaged

Mulch with bark chips or straw in autumn to protect the roots over winter, or move container-grown plants to a frost-free environment.

Divide overgrown clumps of agapanthus in spring.
