Blackberry 'Coolaris Early' is an excellent blackberry variety that bears large, aromatic fruit on this year's canes.
Delicious fruit can be harvested from mid-July.
For best results, plant in acidic, humus-rich soil. Position in full sun or partial shade, and keep well-watered but try to avoid water logging.
Reap the rewards of growing your own. Why not bake a blackberry pie, crumble or simply add the fruit to a smoothie to enjoy. You can also freeze the fruit to save them for a later date.
