Gro-Sure Fine & Luxurious Lawn Seed is a unique blend of premium grass seed varieties which focus on giving your lawn that showstopper look. Your lawn will feel and look luxurious as well as maintain its beautiful colour all season long. This seed treatment will also help in deterring birds from feeding on the grass.

 

In good conditions blades of grass can usually be seen in under 3 weeks, however, if the conditions are unfavourable this may take considerably longer.

 

Gro-Sure offers premium quality seeds to revive and enhance any lawn. For lawns that need to withstand high traffic and pet use to having a show stopper lawn, we have the right blend that will succeed to get the lawn you want.

How To Use

Sow lawn seed from March to October. The best times are March–May or September–October.


Where to Use

  • Establishing new lawns on bare soil

Best Conditions

Seed grows best when soil temperatures stay between 10–18°C. Germination may slow outside this range.


How to Sow a New Lawn

  1. Clear debris and weeds.
  2. Dig over soil, break lumps, firm, and level with a rake.
  3. Shake the box to mix seed. Apply at 30g/m² in two passes at right angles.
  4. Lightly rake in.

How to Thicken an Existing Lawn/

  1. Remove weeds. Mow closely. Aerate compacted areas.
  2. Apply lawn dressing to level shallow dips.
  3. Shake the box to mix seed. Apply at 25g/m² in two passes at right angles.
  4. Lightly rake in.

After Sowing/

  • Lightly firm the ground by walking over it or using a roller.
  • Water thoroughly with a fine spray, avoiding seed wash‑off.
  • Water daily until established; in hot weather, water late in the day.
  • Mow when grass reaches 5–8cm, lowering the height gradually to 2.5cm.
  • After 8 weeks, feed with Westland Ultra Green Feed & Conditioner.
