One of our favourite gift boxes as it helps to celebrate and conserve one of the gardens greatest visitors - the Bee. Our ‘Love to Bee’ gift box contains a high quality, copper roofed bee barn to provide the perfect garden home for solitary bees and other pollinators. Also included in this box are three single flowering Dahlia tubers plus a special Bee flower mix from Unwins seeds, both of which can be sown or planted easily in pots or in the garden. Not only will the flowers provide tremendous colour but they have been hand selected specifically for being ideal for bees as they are rich in nectar over a long season. Finally for the bee lover we have included a beautiful hand embroidered Honeybee ornament.

This handmade honey bee has been embroidered using the intricate Zari technique, giving the decoration added dimension. Beads in shades of black, white and a bright honey yellow have been added to enhance the decoration even more, giving it a glow. This style of embroidery originated in Central Asia in the 12th century and is known for it's ornate and sumptuous designs.

Encourage butterflies and bees into your garden with this mix of rich nectar providers. They will give a mass of colour all summer long and attracts a wide range of beneficial insects.

Spread a little happiness in your garden with this cheerful mix of single dahlias in bright colours, set off by striking dark foliage. Flowering from midsummer well into autumn, they make a fantastic late summer display in borders and big containers. They also make superb cut flowers, lasting a long time in bouquets and vases.

This charming bee barn is designed to provide a safe home for friendly solitary bees and other pollinators in your garden. The bee barn features many nesting holes for bees made from bamboo shoots with a secondary compartment which you can fill with fir cones, hay and straw to provide a habitat for lacewings and ladybirds.
