Regular tomato grow bags can be difficult to water and tend to be too shallow which prevents tomato plants putting down a strong set of roots. With New Horizon Tomato Planter your roots have the room to develop freely which encourages better and more productive green growth which in turn encourages more flowers and fruit.
New Horizon Tomato Planter is naturally peat-free and gives every plant triple the goodness. It's an ideal blend of loam, coir and added ingredients to achieve a compost with impressive moisture-holding and aerating properties.
What makes Westland New Horizon Peat Free Compost so special?
Until now gardeners had to choose between being the best gardeners they could using a peat based compost or being eco-friendly using an inferior peat free offering. But now gardeners have no need to compromise any longer with New Horizon Peat Free Compost, from Westland.
Made with a BIO3™ formulation this revolutionary new compost blend has been created and trialled to outperform peat-based alternatives. On planting it begins nourishing the plant immediately, with its unique BIOFibre ingredient that encourages fast growth and an effective transfer of nutrients locking onto and around plant roots. The open structure comes from the longstanding Westland propriety material West+ fibres and micro-nutrients for total plant health, helping to feed plants for longer.
Triple the Goodness!
1. BIOFibre is a totally natural nutrient rich fibre. It locks on to the root as it grows and ensures fast, effective transfer of nutrients and moisture into the plant.
2. West+ creates the optimum structure and air spaces in the compost to deliver the very best root growth.
3. Coir+ acts like a sponge, storing and releasing moisture and nutrients for longer.
Useful Tip:
Simply roll the bag and shake to open up the compost. Cut the bag lengthwise along the marked line. Make two holes evenly spaced and place your two tomato plants as shown on the packet. Water each day in the morning or evening and combine with a feed three days after flowers appear.
For orders of 3 bags or more additional delivery charges will apply. Click here for more information.
