When to plant Pak Choi Seeds

Pak choi can be sown from March to August for a continuous supply of fresh leaves. For early crops, start seeds indoors from February. In warmer months, direct sowing outdoors is best. For an autumn or winter harvest, sow in late summer and provide protection from frost.

How to plant Pak Choi Seeds

Sow seeds thinly, 1 cm deep, in rows spaced 25-30 cm apart. Once seedlings emerge, thin them to 15-30 cm apart, depending on whether you want baby leaves or full-sized plants. Pak choi prefers moist, well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded spot. Keep the soil consistently watered to prevent bolting.

How long do Pak Choi Seeds take to grow?

Pak choi seeds germinate in 5-10 days, with baby leaves ready to harvest within 3-4 weeks. Full-sized plants take around 6-8 weeks to mature. Harvest outer leaves regularly to encourage continuous growth.
