Get hold of pea Hurst Green Shaft for your plot. This Award of Garden Merit variety grows to a height of 70cm (28in)- managable for small-spaces or large plots alike.
Worthy for exhibiting, Hurst Green Shaft produces double pods 10cm (4in) in length and are packed full of peas. We've counted up to 11 peas in one pod.
The pods of Hurst Green Shaft tend to accumulate around the top half of your plants which makes for easy harvesting and not having to crouch down unnecessarily.
If you succession sow we recommend you sow a row in mid March and then a following row in late April. This extends your cropping season of delicious peas from July through to September.
