This wonderful UK flower grows in woodland and is a member of the buttercup family. Winter Aconite forms a vibrant sea of golden yellow flowers on top of frilled green leaves that protrude out below that flowerheads like a skirt. Our bulbs are responsibly sourced and are not collected from the wild.

This variety is exceptionally easy to establish and to care for due to being essentially maintenance-free. Winter Aconite multiplies and spreads quickly to form even more flowers each spring.

This 'Eranthis hyemalis' is provided to you as 'bulbs in the green' at the start of the year and will grow and establish very quickly. The bulbs are collected whilst they are still active and in flower or leaf which makes them much stronger when they arrive to you.

The concaved shaped flowers of winter aconite will attract a wide range of essential pollinating insects to your spring garden and will pair with Snowdrops and Bluebells for a forest-themed display.
