Choisya ‘Scented Gem’ is a compact evergreen shrub that brings structure, colour and fragrance to the garden throughout the year. In spring and early summer, it produces masses of star-shaped white flowers, often flushed with soft pink, filling the garden with a sweet orange blossom scent. The glossy green foliage is aromatic when brushed, adding interest even when the plant is not in flower.

 

Well suited to borders, low hedging and patio containers, this variety has a naturally tidy habit that makes it ideal for smaller spaces or contemporary planting schemes. Choisya ‘Scented Gem’ thrives in a sunny or lightly shaded position with free-draining soil and requires very little maintenance once established.
