Harvest
Every year you can look forward to well-furnished branches full of large, rich damsons, with attractive purple blooms on their skin. Enjoy eating straight from the tree or collecting a basket or two to reduce into jam for the autumn.
The rewarding variety offers you both flowers and fruit in abundance. From April your tree produces a canopy full of blossom which attracts important pollinators like bees which are likely to pollinate other crops on your patch like strawberries and tomatoes.
Hardy in all parts of the UK this variety is dependable and a great choice for the garden as it reaches a maximum height of around 2.5m (8ft).
Rootstock: St Julian A
Flowering Group: FG3 & SF
Years until fruiting from planting: 2-4
Age of tree at despatch: 2
Height at full growth: 4m/13ft
Most of our trees are delivered as bare rooted specimens with approximate height of: 3.5ft - 5ft / 105cm - 140cm depending on the variety.
The vast majority of the trees we ship have been pruned and will appear trimmed. This is expert pruning to ensure your tree branches well and produces maximum fruiting stems.
We may prune your tree before it arrives to your door. We do this to encourage your tree to branch freely which makes them better looking and more productive.

Guide To Plant Sizes
7cm-10L Potted Shrubs
Trees, shrubs, perennials and climbers come in a range of pot sizes. Available through the year, they will be sent to you well packed for plant protection during transit. The appearance of your plant will vary depending on the season in which they are purchased. As a rule of thumb, the larger the pot, the larger the plant growth. Each increase in pot size means roughly another year’s growth for better instant impact.
Bare Root
Several of our plants come supplied as bare roots. Despite appearances, they are alive and well. They have been previously grown in the ground and lifted when dormant throughout the winter months, so that when you receive them they are strong, full of energy and ready to be planted out. This is our most economical way to buy many plant varieties including roses, strawberries, trees and bushes. Soak well prior to planting in their final position.
