Eversharp Lite All Purpose Secateurs are perfect for gardeners with smaller hands or those who prefer smaller secateurs. The high carbon steel blades are precisely sharpened, making them twice as sharp as any others. How to use:
- Use bypass or All Purpose secateurs to cut green live wood, young and soft woods instead of anvil style.
- These secateurs have two sharpened blades that intersect to create a precise and clean cut, similar to a pair of scissors.
- Gentler bypass action for delicate stems.
- Perfect for deadheading, taking cuttings, pruning, and cutting shoots closest to the bud.
- For trimming and shaping of green live wood, including roses and shrubs.
Maintenance and care
- Ensure your garden tool stays in top shape by properly caring for it. After each use, store it in a dry environment and don't leave it outside, even in dry weather. Exposing your tools to moisture from wet grass and dew can cause damage.
- Keeping your garden tools clean and dry will ensure they remain in good working condition. After each use, make sure to wash away any soil and debris from your digging tools.
- Dry tools before storing to prevent rust and rot. Apply linseed oil to wood handles to prevent cracking. If dirty, brush or gently wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not soak wood to avoid damage.
- Ensure that all tools used for chemical applications are thoroughly cleaned, as fertilizers and other chemicals can quickly corrode metal.
