Native British wildflower Corn Marigold is perfect for a wildflower border, with big bright yellow daisy-like flowers on long stems. This fast-growing annual flowers all through summer. It’s very popular with pollinators and the flowers are ideal for cutting.

Sow outdoors

Sow in well-prepared, soil once it starts to warm up and just press into the surface, watering as necessary. Choose a sunny spot in well-drained ground. Allow 2-3 weeks for germination.

Thin

Thin young seedlings to the required spacing when large enough to handle. For best results, sow in early spring.

How to grow

Sow seeds on to the surface of pre-watered seed compost, but don't cover them. Keep warm, around 20°C and keep moist, but not wet. Allow 1-2 weeks for germination.
