This natural slug barrier kit combines two trusted solutions for effective, chemical-free protection. The 4m Copper Tape deters slugs and snails by emitting a mild electric charge when they attempt to cross it – ideal for wrapping around pots, raised beds and staging.


For ground-level defence, Organic Slug Stop forms a rough-textured barrier that slugs won’t cross. The granules swell and stay in place when wet, forming a ring of defence that’s completely safe for children, pets and wildlife.


Use both together for comprehensive, non-toxic slug control across your garden – perfect for protecting young veg, bedding plants and ornamental displays all season long.

How To Use

Organic Slug Stop Pellets:

  • Before applying, check the area is free from slugs and snails.
  • For individual plants: create a 10cm wide ring of pellets around the base of each plant.
  • For groups of plants: form a 5cm wide band to fully surround the planting area.
  • For containers: evenly cover the surface with pellets, ensuring the base of each plant is protected.
  • Reapply if the barrier is disturbed or washed away.
  • After use, mix remaining pellets into the soil to boost structure and nutrient levels.

Copper Tape:

  • Clean and dry the surface of the pot before applying the tape.
  • Peel off the backing and wrap the tape around the pot, overlapping the ends by at least 10mm.
  • The tape will gradually turn verdigris green with exposure; this is natural and does not affect performance.
