Lobelia is such a perfect plant for summer baskets and containers it blends with most other varieties giving you a gentle cascade of colour.
This mix is early flowering but has the vigour to keep going all summer long, right up to the first frosts.

How to Guide
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds on the surface, but do not cover them. Place in warmth 15-20C (60-70F), and keep moist.
Sowing Distance20cm / 8in
Potting on/Thining Out
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from bright sun. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm (2in) apart into trays of potting compost.
Hardening Off/Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when danger of frost has passed. Allow 20cm (8in) between plants.
