If you're struggling with moss appearing on your lawn then Westland Moss Master is the perfect solution to dealing with your moss problems. Removing moss the natural way means that your lawn will not be chemically damaged and left with black spots and staining.
Westland Moss Master deals with moss in a clever way, by releasing friendly bacteria into your garden which eats moss and converts it in to organic lawn feed. So as well in removing moss it also provides your lawn with a slow release of nutrients for up to 3 months.
How to use
- Apply when the grass is actively growing from March to September
- Repeat after 3 months if required
- Apply 100-150 grams per square metre over lawns infested with moss
- 1 parking space = 10 m² = 2 x 5 sqm
What are the benefits of using this natural moss remover?
- NO RAKE REQUIRED: Moss buildup in a lawn can hinder the growth and thickness of the grass by creating a spongy layer of dead grass called thatch. Removing this layer, known as raking or scarifying, can be a laborious task. Fortunately, Moss Master contains specialised microbes that can naturally break down thatch. These helpful microbes release essential nutrients for healthier grass growth once the thatch is eliminated.
- NO BLACK PATCHES: Many traditional moss control products contain ferrous sulphate, which is a nutrient that can effectively eliminate moss when used in the right amount. However, if spilled on surfaces and exposed to water, the iron in these products can cause rust stains on surfaces such as patios. Additionally, the downside of using iron-based moss treatments is that the moss turns black as it is killed, which can be unattractive when there is a significant amount present. With Moss Master, the added fertiliser content creates drier conditions that are unfavourable for moss growth, providing a secondary benefit.
- FAST 7 DAY GREENING: Moss Master contains both mineral and organic elements that dissolve when wet and provide immediate nutrients to grass. Organic elements break down with the help of microbes, providing continuous results for up to 3 months. Customise application rate for desired lawn goals.#
Instructions:
- APPLICATION: Mark out areas, apply granules thinly and evenly. Do not exceed application rate. Apply 100-150 g per sq. m for moss removal and 45-100 g per sqm for lawn feeding. Ensure correct rate is applied with wheeled spreader, adjusting setting if necessary.
- TO FINISH: Be sure to water the granules into the well within 48 hours if there is no rain. For best results, wait 7-10 days before mowing. You may need to retreat if there is a severe moss problem or if moss reappears.
- GENERAL ADVICE: Avoid exceeding the recommended rate of 150 grams per sqm. Only apply where necessary. Over-fertilisation can harm your lawn. Treated areas are safe for children and pets.
- EXPECTED RESULTS: Within 7 days, the lawn will transform into a luscious green. Within 2-3 weeks of applying, the moss will die. It will then naturally decompose and enrich the soil. No need to rake, as it will become nourishing organic material.
