Low-growing Rosemary ‘Prostratus’ is a useful evergreen shrub that forms a spreading mound of branches with aromatic foliage and upright spikes of blue flowers from mid-spring to early summer. It makes an excellent groundcover for hot, sunny sites and also looks good cascading over a low wall.

This popular culinary herb goes especially well with chicken, pork and lamb dishes, and the blue flowers are a welcome nectar source for bees in spring.

How you will receive your plants:

Selected by our team of experts and sent from our nursery, you will receive your plant in a pot, ready to plant out.

Can’t plant straight away?

Place the pot in a sheltered sunny spot outdoors and water regularly to keep the soil moist.

Planting tips and hints:

Planting in the ground: Dig a hole the same size as the pot your plant comes in and place the plant in the hole with the top of its compost level with the surface of the soil. Water well.

Aftercare: Trim rosemary after flowering to keep the plant in shape. Regular harvesting will encourage the plant to produce fresh new growth.
