Each bag contains washed and dried crushed shells, making it an excellent choice for garden borders, beds, and rockeries. Not only do they deter slugs when applied in a generous layer (20-30mm) around plants, but they also serve multiple purposes, acting as a mulch to conserve soil moisture and enhancing drainage and aeration when mixed into the soil.
