The medium to large green individual fruit are perfectly bite-size, vitamin-rich and satisfying. The plants are naturally disease-resistant and dependable in UK climates.

Your potted plant has been trained to a high standard, with a clear single trunk and shaped head of leaves. The head of leaves and stems will burst into leaf and flower from next spring, and a good root network which will establish in the ground over winter.
Standard formed plants have been trained over several seasons to have a single clear stem and a formed head where the fruit is produced. Very different to the normal bush versions, these will add a striking focal point in the garden or plot. They look fantastic even without fruit on. As these are at a comfortable height, there is no more bending down to trim and pick fruit. Trim vigourous non fruiting new shoot back to the head size in July and then trim all shoots by half or to the size of head you require in winter.
