The SureCut Hard Wood Extra Power Ratchet Anvil Loppers by Kent & Stowe feature a SK5 steel blade that easily cuts through tough, dead wood with precision and a clean edge.
Cut through the toughest wood with ease using the Pump Action Ratchet and Reflex Rubber Bumpers. These bumpers absorb impact and deliver a smooth rebound for maximum comfort and minimum effort while chopping.
These SureCut Ratchet Loppers also feature telescopic handles for extra power and reach when cutting high branches.
How to use:
- For optimal results, usea set of ratchet loppers to trim stubborn, mature, and decaying wood.
- The ratchet mechanism makes it easy to gradually cut through branches and stems with minimal effort.
- Easily prune mature and dead wood with the powerful anvil action, which uses minimal effort to close one blade onto a cutting block. This provides a stronger cut compared to the bypass method. Perfect for tackling tough wood with ease.
- To maintain blade quality, simply wipe with an oiled cloth after each use and sharpen as needed.
Maintenance and care
- Ensure your garden tool stays in top shape by properly caring for it. After each use, store it in a dry environment and don't leave it outside, even in dry weather. Exposing your tools to moisture from wet grass and dew can cause damage.
- Keeping your garden tools clean and dry will ensure they remain in good working condition. After each use, make sure to wash away any soil and debris from your digging tools.
- Dry tools before storing to prevent rust and rot. Apply linseed oil to wood handles to prevent cracking. If dirty, brush or gently wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not soak wood to avoid damage.
- Ensure that all tools used for chemical applications are thoroughly cleaned, as fertilizers and other chemicals can quickly corrode metal.
