The tapering ends have a 5mm hole so you can attach string through the hole as an alternative and tie to climbing plants like runner beans. This means you don’t need to squat all the way to ground level to read the label.
This 20-pack is great for the allotment where it pays to mark out the rows of vegetables at seed or seedling stage. Just use any black marker pen to write on your aluminium labels. When you want to re-use the labels simply wash off the pen with soapy water and they are good as new.
Useful tip:
At the end of the season collect and wash your labels for re-using. Dry them off and keep them together with an elastic band and string.
