Harvest
Beetroot Boldor F1 Seeds are a great choice for gardeners looking for something a bit different. The copper-coloured skins and orange flesh of this vigorous, uniform variety retain their colour when cooked and add flavour and colour to salads and other dishes.
The golden-coloured beetroot are delicious and sweet, Enjoy these in salads, roasted, or you can even try pickling them to make your harvest last longer!
Sowing OutdoorsSow seeds thinly, direct into the required harvest position, 2.5cm deep. When large enough to handle, thin out to 10cm apart. Keep soil moist at all times to prevent roots becoming dry and woody.
AdviceUse thinnings in baby leaf salads. Use fleece to protect crop from frost or cold wind. Beetroot can be lifted and stored in sand; ensure they are kept frost-free.
