Description

The dark green, evergreen and hardy leaves of bay tree Laurus nobilis make it a favourite for culinary uses, home-growing and for decorative topiary.

Our Half Standard Bay trees are approximately 160cm tall from pot base, with a 30cm (12in) approx diameter head on a sturdy stem. Bay trees thrive in containers, making them perfect patio plants.

They make a real statement beside the front door and are great gifts. Both are great for culinary use. Supplied as garden ready specimens, in 7 litre pots.

Give them an annual trim in the spring to keep their shape and a regular liquid feed during the summer. They will not get too big as the size of the pot will control the size of the trees.

Please note: Bays trees have been clipped for the winter as part of healthy maintenance and due to the nature of the product and the transit process, the leaf canopy may not be as established as the trees pictured.

The planters shown on the images are for illustration purposes only and are not included with this item.

During the spring and summer the trees will produce new leaf growth and the leaf canopy will continue to get bigger.
