Description

The Pink Pearl prepared hyacinth bulb produces spikes of sweetly scented pink flowers, If you're keen on having indoor flowers for Christmas, now is the ideal time to pre-order.

Plant the bulbs in containers filled with bulb fibre, ensuring the tips of the bulbs are slightly exposed above the compost.
Hyacinths require a cool, dark period to simulate winter dormancy, followed by warmth and bright conditions to initiate growth.

To achieve Christmas blooms, store the planted bulbs in a cool cupboard or garage for approximately 10 weeks, ensuring they're watered regularly. Once flower buds appear, relocate them to a warm, well-lit position to encourage flowering.

This process will fool the bulbs into thinking it's springtime, resulting in beautiful blooms just in time for the festive season.

Aftercare Indoors

Rotation: Regularly turn the pots to prevent stems from leaning towards the light.
Support: As stems emerge, provide support using canes, string, or decorative materials like coloured cornus or willow tied with natural raffia or ribbon.

Post-Flowering

After the hyacinth bulbs have finished flowering indoors, they can be transitioned outdoors to a sheltered position, allowing them to continue their growth cycle.
