Flowering
Unwins Nature's Haven Antirrhinum Potomac Cherry Rose Seeds, also known as Snapdragons, produce tall, sturdy, striking candy pink flower spikes with contrasting dark foliage. A cottage garden favourite looks beautiful in garden borders and containers.
A stunning Snapdragon providing excellent flowers throughout summer and long-lasting cut flowers.
This is brilliant for pollinators, attracting beneficial insects into your garden.
Sowing IndoorsAlmost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface, and lightly cover them with a dusting of sifted compost. Cover the tray with a propagator lid or cling film. Place in the warmth, 18-25°C, and keep moist
Growing OnKeep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm apart into trays of potting compost.
Hardening Off/Planting OutGradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out from April onwards. Allow 30cm between plants.
AftercareWater well, especially in warm weather. Feed and deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers. Ideal for cutting.
How to grow
Sow seeds on to the surface of pre-watered seed compost, but don't cover them. Keep warm, around 20°C and keep moist, but not wet. Allow 1-2 weeks for germination.
