Nature's Haven Salvia Vista Purple Seeds are ideal for bold, long-lasting summer colour. This salvia is compact and versatile, with vivid purple flowers.
Ideal for beds, path edges and patio pots in full sun. These plants have dense spikes of magenta flowers that last for many months over summer.
Sowing IndoorsAlmost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface, and lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in the warmth (15-20°C) and keep moist.
Growing OnKeep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm apart in trays, or individually to 8cm pots, of potting compost.
Planting OutGradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out 20cm apart when risk of frost has passed.
How to grow
Sow seeds on to the surface of pre-watered seed compost, but don't cover them. Keep warm, around 20°C and keep moist, but not wet. Allow 1-2 weeks for germination.
