Winning the best new product design at international tradeshow GLEE IN THE Pet and Wildlife category, your Robin Nester was developed in conjunction with TV's naturalist and wildlife cameraman Simon King, using his many years knowledge of watching and photographing wildlife.
UK bird favourite the robin likes to nest in an open-fronted nest box which it can access easily, but be hidden to opportunistic predators. The entrance is open and accessible but the nesting area is hidden a side wall and sheltered by a roof.
Robins favour nests in sheds with access day and night or in outhouses like porches on shelves. You will find your Robin Nester comfortably lightweight and can be wired into a suitable hedge or ivy backdrop using a spare loop of fixing wire which comes included. A rattan landing platform forms the base of the nester for comfortable perching.
The Robin Nester may also house other garden bird species like pied or grey wagtails, or woodland birds like spotted flycatchers.
Dimensions: H14cm x W25cm x D12.5cm
