Stuttgarter Stanfield Onion Sets produce an onion with a sweet, smooth and very mild taste, delicious for salads or cooking. The bulbs have a slightly flattened shape, excellent keeping qualities and are slow to bolt.

Grow onion Stuttgarter Stanfield on your vegetable plot; slow to bolt so suitable to plant sets as early as January for harvests as early as August.

Stuttgarter Stanfield onion sets have a greatly improved yellow skin quality, making it an excellent choice for the home grower who takes pride in the appearance of their vegetables as well as the flavour.

The bulbs have a slightly flattened shape which makes for easier slicing in the kitchen. It has a sweet, smooth and very mild taste, delicious for salads or cooking.

Special Note: Onion sets are simply small, immature onions, which have been lifted and dried to prevent any further growth. Once planted in spring the sets grow in size and each one forms a full-sized bulb when ready to harvest.
