Artichoke 'Green Globe' seeds produce crops that are a great delicacy, steamed or boiled and served with melted lemon butter or hollandaise sauce.
This reliable heritage variety produces wonderfully flavoured crops that can be harvested small for baby Artichoke or left to mature.
Sow your Artichoke ‘Green Globe’ seeds under glass or use a Windowsill Plant Propagator in February-April. Transplant in June to crop autumn and the following May/June. Sow direct in March for cropping the following year.
Artichoke are beautiful enough to grow in the flower border. These are perennial plants and will produce more heads with each successive year.
