Sowing IndoorsLevel fill a module tray with seed compost firming with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Sow seeds individually and cover with a 1cm layer of fine compost. Place in a propagator at 18-25°C or cover tray with cling film and leave in a warm room. Keep moist.
Growing OnWhen shoots appear, remove cling film. Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant into 8cm pots of potting compost. Grow on in a minimum temperature of 15°C.
Planting OutPlant into the greenhouse border, grow bags or 30cm diameter containers on a sunny patio when first flowers have opened. Water and feed well to promote fruiting.
