Description

A tidy compact variety reaching 60cm (24in) with fruit of an exceptional wild berry flavour. Masses of medium-sized berries form from June and into July on this plant that is perfect planted in a container filled with acidic soil.
In autumn, the leaves of North Country turn scarlet making this blueberry variety a sight to behold as well as producing you masses of fruit in summer.
Plants arrive to you in a 2-litre pot with an already-established root network. The pot is wrapped in a polythene bag to keep the root area moist and kept in place with a layer of corrugated cardboard to keep it secured in transit.
This is further placed in a paper bag which is how it arrives to you. Simply remove all layers and replant to a larger container, firming in well.
If growing directly in soil we recommend that you transplant containerised plants at any time of the year: just avoid transplanting in summer in the midday sun or in winter if the ground is frozen.
