How to Guide

Sow indoors

March-April: Sow thinly 1⁄2in (1cm) in module trays of firm pre-watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.

Sow outdoors

March-August: Sow thinly 1⁄2in (1cm) deep in rows 16in (40cm) apart. Keep soil moist as dry conditions can impair germination.  Thin to 10in (25cm) apart or 1in (2.5cm) for baby leaf.

Plant out

July-August into the required harvest position 18in (45cm) apart with 24in (60cm) between each row.

Tips

Protect from Cabbage White Butterfly with netting.
