Produces heavy crops of easy-harvest firm buttons with a mild flavour through the Christmas harvest period.

An exceptional taste which intensifies and becomes sweeter after frosts. Vigorous and tall plants withstand harsh winter weather, as well as having a good disease resistance.

This variety is a suitable alternative to Brussels Sprouts 'Montgomery'.

How to Guide

Sow indoors

February-April: Sow 1cm (1⁄2in) deep. Individually into clean module trays of firm pre-watered compost. Place in warmth at 16°C (61°F) and keep soil moist at all times.

Sow outdoors

April: Sow thinly 1cm (1⁄2in) deep in a seed bed or clean module trays of firm pre-watered compost. Keep soil moist at all time. Protect from frost. Thin to 10cm (4in).

Plant out

April-May into the required harvest position 24in (60cm) apart with 24in (60cm) between each row.

Tips

Protect from Cabbage White Butterfly with netting.
