Stunning large white double flowers with golden stamens appear from late winter into spring, standing out against glossy dark green leaves. Once the flowers are over, Camellia ‘Silver Anniversary’ makes an excellent backdrop for other flowering plants.
Plant Camellia ‘Silver Anniversary’ in a shady spot, in a moist, well drained acidic soil. Avoid east-facing positions, as the buds may be damaged by late frosts. Water in dry periods, especially in summer when the following year’s flower buds are developing.
