Pack Contents: 2x Carrot Planters

Size: L:45cm x W:30cm x D:30cm

  • Two weatherproof, reinforced planters
  • Grow around 24 carrots per planter bag
  • Perfect for a balcony or patio
  • With generous 30cm (12in) depth

Get hold of these re-usable weatherproof planters, reinforced with strong tubes and with generous drainage holes to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged for excellent growth.

These orange grow-bag planters fold flat when not in use so store away efficiently and take up little space in your shed or cupboard. Your pack comes with a handy and useful growing guide for carrots in planters. It’s easy- just follow the instructions.

Ideal for other root vegetables too like parsnips, beetroot and radishes. This is an ideal way of starting out growing home-grown root vegetables full of flavour. You need not commit your garden or beds at this starting-out phase; you just need to designate a 45cm x 30cm (18 x 12in) area anywhere outdoors.

Useful tip

Thin out carrot seedlings when they have enough leaves to hold on to. Pick out the seedlings to leave one seedling at 2.5cm (1in) intervals. The remaining seedlings then have enough room to grow and develop. Be sure to water them daily to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.
