Clapton is the variety for home-growers who suffer clubroot on their vegetable plot. Get peace of mind that you can grow cauliflowers successfully in the allotment even if clubroot is rife in your area. We recommend you keep the soil moist at all times to keep Clapton happy.
This versatile variety matures in autumn; when you grow cauliflowers yourself you’ll notice the sweet flavour from the curds that can be missing from shop-bought equivalents.
