Enjoy the award-winning attributes of Convolvulus cneorum, a compact Mediterranean shrub with shimmering silver leaves year-round. From June white trumpet flowers open up all over the shrub from slim tall pink-red buds. The display of flowers lasts for five to six months.

Grow at the front of flower beds or in containers where they form neat flowering mounds great for pollinating insects like bees.

Plant in full sun and your Convolvulus cneorum shrub flowers well, producing blooms even when planted in shallow soils, poor in nutrients and denied of water in dry periods of summer.

Useful tip

Being a Mediterranean shrub, Convolvulus is susceptible to cold and wet winters. If these conditions prevail we recommend that you cover the shrub with horticultural fleece in planted in a bed or brought under cover if you are growing Convolvulus in a container.
