Whether you’re an experienced tomato grower or trying it for the first time, this Dalefoot Wool Compost is specially designed to get the best results from this tasty home-grown classic crop.

Made by the experts at Dalefoot, who is well known for producing a range of quality peat-free composts, it’s the best organic way to grow premium tomatoes. This 30Litre Planter pack means there’s no need to add in any expensive additional growing feed because all the nutrients are packed into the compost, saving you both time and money. Plus Dalefoot’s unique blend requires 50 per cent less watering compared to normal compost, which is a great benefit to the environment and for preserving water in demanding summer weather.

Approved by the esteemed Soil Association as a high-quality organic product, Wool Compost is a totally peat-free option for your tomato crops. A range of tomato seeds can be used with it and you can use the 30Litre pack direct as a planter or empty the compost into seed trays or small pots for indoor growing before seedlings can be moved to sunny outdoor spots for their final flourish.

Now with added Comfrey! – the organic gardeners best friend – a ‘dynamic accumulator’ packed with nutrients is added into the Wool Compost range. Grown sustainably at Dalefoot farm, Comfrey's ‘Bocking 14’ variety has high levels of potassium, phosphorous & nitrogen for healthy plant growth, larger flowers & bigger crops. And like the rest of Dalefoot’s range, it has been approved by the Soil Association for organic growing.
