Enjoy this duo pack of Dalefoot Wool Compost for Seeds, perfect for seed sowing and germination. The specially-blended compost supports newly-established seedlings and young plants as they grow and develop, thanks to the open texture and nutrient-holding properties.
This 100% peat-free compost contains sheep’s wool and bracken, perfectly blended to give you plants that continue to perform well after seedling stage.
Bracken has been proven to harbour naturally high levels of potash which is essential for developing plants like seedlings. The ingredient sheep’s wool holds water well, ideal for seedlings to remain hydrated while they adjust to their environment.
Now with added Comfrey! – the organic gardeners best friend – a ‘dynamic accumulator’ packed with nutrients is added into the Wool Compost range. Grown sustainably at Dalefoot farm, Comfrey's ‘Bocking 14’ variety has high levels of potassium, phosphorous & nitrogen for healthy plant growth, larger flowers & bigger crops. And like the rest of Dalefoot’s range, it has been approved by the Soil Association for organic growing.
